Being a successful team leader requires a diverse set of skills. Working both alongside and on a managerial grey area is not always a straightforward thing to do. What are we trying to accomplish with teams? What are the common challenges related to growing a functional team? How can i succeed in a leadership position without the direction rights given by law? How does a team leader strenghten her/his leadership strenght and position in a team? What kind of leadership is required in different development stages of a team? How to take care of ones own wellbeing and continuous development as a team leader?

J-Impact´s team leader training encompasses over 30 years of experience both from working in teams and leading them.

This training is meant for team leaders regardless of their line of business. This training is also suited for leaders and experts whose responsibility it is to develop an organization based on teams.

Key takeaways 

Different stages of the development of a team organization will be systematically addressed. The role and responsibilities of a team leader and the challenges and tensions inherent in these will be discussed. Participants learn to understand their dual role as both a "doer" and a leader. Discussions about the different aspects of being a team leader help strenghten the participants´ view of their role and identity as a team leader. Self-leadership skills will also be discussed during the training.

 

Trainer

M.Sc. Econ., trainer Tommi Lindholm has worked in as an expert in strategic, analytical and business intelligence roles in an international setting. Tommi´s experience comes from the fields of ITC, banking and management consulting. Tommi´s interests are in different aspects of leadership and collective intelligence. Tommi also also has experience from entrepreneurship and innovation management. Previous employers include Nokia Oyj, Stanton Chase International and Nordea Oyj.

Price

The price of the training is 1290 eur/person + VAT 24%. The price includes training materials, lunch and coffee and the book "Taitava tiiminvalmentaja". Terms of cancellation

You can cancel your participation without cost two (2) weeks before the event. After this 50% of the initial price will be collected. If you do not cancel your participation we will collect the whole participation fee. The cancellation must be in written form. If a participant is unable to attend, it is possible to change ones attendance to another date or have someone else attend instead.
